Stress Management

We live in stressful times. Work is stressful. Unemployment is stressful. Family and relationships can be stressful. Financial difficulties are stressful. Illness is stressful.

It really doesn’t have to be this way.

If you are suffering the effects of stress, there are two things you need to do.

The first step is external and is to find out what exactly are the causes and takes positive and immediate steps to change what you can change. This may seem obvious, but life is so busy that most people don’t do it. You HAVE to do it!

The second step is internal, taking responsibility for your stress, learning how and why you react to stressful situations, but also how and why you attract difficult situations in the first place. Believe it or not, you can change both, dealing better with adverse effects when they occur, but also learning how to attract fewer stressful situations in the first place.

Solutions include relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, mindfulness meditation, hypnosis and biofeedback and we may use any and all of these, as well as learning the importance of spending more time in nature, making a contribution to your community and connecting with others.

So are you ready?
